For my Father-in-Law

Well today It's all about Dad,  and a very very early start to making a Father's Day card,  this card is made for my Father-in-Law as my other Dad's are in Heaven.


I used designer paper from Bearly-Mine Designs, cardstock from SU, & a few rhinestones. Very simple to put together but these colours are so lovely and bright, just perfect for any Dad.
The image is part of the new digi set called "Not a Tie" ..... which is the freebie for the month of May

Well today's the start of another wonderful fortnight challenge over at Open-Minded Crafting Fun with the theme for Challenge #9 being "Sports or Activity"




My image I used is called "Game Kid" from Kenny K, what a character, which I coloured with Prismascoloring Pencils and glossy accent the glasses.   I just had to use this designer paper from Reminisce called Vegas Icons.  Used my punch border from SU, some buttons & a sentiment.

Fairy Kitten

I decided to finally finish my card which is going to be given to my Friend's Daughter, using Aurora Wings Image called "Fairy Kitten".

Such a lovely image to work with and really happy with how it turned out, using my copic markers.  Designer papers is from Papercraft Essentials Magazine freebie called "Sweet Wishes" Paper Stack, matted with Stampin' Up cardstock.  Embellished with open weave ribbon, rhinestones & sentiment from Bearly-Mine Designs

DT Day at Meljen's Designs

Hi Everyone,
Today I wanted to share with you another Easter card I made using the lovely Easter Bunny image & Happy Easter sentiment, now what child doesn't love everything about Easter & definetly the big kids at heart too.  


My DP's are from Doodlebug called "Hello Spring", very fitting don't you think.  I added some open weave ribbon & rhinestones.

It's A Girl

This morning I made a card featuring a Doodle Pantry image called "Quirky Stork", this image is precoloured, nice and quick to put a card together.  
I added scrap of designer paper which I border punched, a strip of cardstock, added some rhinestones & ribbon.

My image I chose is "Fluffy Bunny", how cute, which I fussy cut and 3D mounted as well as added some glitter to the bow.
I used my Spellbinders Easter Egg  in the background, placed some purple cardstock behind to give extra touch.  Added Cheery Lyn Butterfly with some flowers, dimantees & rhinestones.

My Floral Notebook

Today I'm following & entering the current sketch over at i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWISt # no 62 & April Stamp of the Month , using the lovely freebie given for entering the progressive challenge last month.

My daughter gave me this lovely floral notebook, knowing that I love these colours, and I just had to decorate it further and what a perfect image to do so. 
This lovely image is called "Spring Medley" , which I coloured with copics and very softly pastel chalked the background.   I just had to added the lovely butterflies, some open weave ribbon too.
As you see I decided on only following the sketch & doing the tWISt.

Emerald Faerie Inspiration for April

Today is my turn to inspire you at Emerald Faeries, for the current challenge, with the theme being "Colour Combo and/or Easter", you still have to the end of the month to enter.


The image I used is called "Isabella", isn't she adorable, I've coloured her with Prismacoloring Pencils, added some glitter on her wings.  The designer papers & sentiment are from Bearly-Mine Designs, a 2 different colours of cardstock matted from Stampin' Up range Neutrals.  I used Spellbinders die to cut out the image, added some flowers, leaves & diamantes.

I'm early for once to get my entry into the current progressive Monthly challenge at Imagine That ...digis by Kris, the freebie is so cute, just love the ladybug & daisies. If you get in before the 15th you have the chance to win a free set too, great incentive.


I done a CAS style card to make this image & sentiment is of course the freebie for this month called "Ladybug/Daisies Planter".  I wanted to keep it quite simple just by adding some red cardstock, 2 different ribbons & rhinestones. This card will brighten up anyones day that is feeling unwell, see you next time.

Last Inspiration Day for Deedee's Digis

Hi Everyone,
This will be my last DT card to post and with adorable new digi called "Under Your Wing" from Deedee's Digis, as my 3 Month Term is up in a couple days, it has been great and the whole team are lovely, thanks so much Deedee for the opportunity.
This lovely cutie is the April Digi of the Month, hope this inspire you to join in the fun.


Decided on a CAS style card to share with you, especially as my arm is still very sore and unable to use for long periods.  I embossed some orange cardstock, die cut circle, made my own clouds in the middle, then fussy cut Under Your Wing precoloured image basically created a framed scene card. I added a few rhinestones and sentiment to compliment.

My DT Card for challenge #206
I wanted to create a lovely spring look to match this lovely image which is from Robyn's Fetish Digital Store called "Easter Egg", this is coloured with copics and pastel chalked the background. I decided to use Tulip embossing folder along with border punch &sentiment from Stampin Up too.  The designer paper is a collection from Webster's Pages, was a freebie pack from a magazine, as well as some lovely turquoise ribbon to compliment.  I was very happy with the colour combo all blended so well together.
