Creative Fingers Challenge #13 ~ Anything Goes & Last DT Card

Well it's time for a new challenge over at Creative Fingers with the theme being "Anything Goes" with Both Teams participating. We are proudly being sponsored by The Cutting Cafe , and we had to choose between Dresser or Suitcase...... I choose "Dresser".  I wonder what the other Design Team Members had chosen , drop on over to Creative Fingers and have a look who participated and believe me  you won't be dissapointed with those that did.

My DT card for challenge #13
~ Front View ~

Now this is what I call a challenge and I must say if I can do it anyone can lol. Of course I had to do purple as it is my favourite colour and loved how it turned out.

~ Side View ~

The instructions from The Cutting Cafe was easy to follow and great pictures as well.  I used designer paper from my stash, and crazy no name on it so unable to give credit  to where it's due.  I placed bows and rhinestones on front of the draws as I believe was enough embellishment.

~ Top View ~

Then on top of Dresser I used ribbon, flower, flourish & butterfly dies as well as sentiment.  Of course I couldn't make this wonderful project without including a gift card.  I cutout a flower & leaf from DPs and mounted , picture doesn't really show you well but you get it, right?  I married up my sentiments so that the card first, then dresser, "Just For You" ~ "With Love".

~ Dresser completed and Gift Card to match ~

I would also like to say that this is my last DT creation for Creative Fingers, I wish to thank Angelique for the fabulous opportunity as well as past Co Owner Zoe.  I wish all the Design Team Members all the best.

I'd like to enter the following challenge/s ~

Cheery Lyn & Stampin' Up (SU) punch.  Ribbon, pearls are from SU too, flowers & present charm from stash.  I also got carried away and decorated the inside of my card too as you will see below.

It's snowing . . .

I was so excited to find that Meljen's Design Team  & Challenge Blog are having a Guest Design Team Call, all details are on their blog.  I have been entering their challenges for awhile, love Melissa's  cute & quirky images, one very talented lady.
This week their theme is "Black Out", lovely simple challenge.  I always try and do something different with these images and today I'm showcasing "Groundhog Day" from Meljen's Designs, all I could visualise was doing a wintery scene being Christmas coming, and this little cutie pops up in the snow.

~ My Card ~

I use cardstock, designer paper & snowflake embossing from Stampin' Up, ribbon, brad, Spellbinder Snowflake Dies.  I then decided to use "Jingle all the Way" sentiment as well from Meljen's Designs.  I added some soft pastel chalked clouds, dots of diamond dust for snow, as well as around this adorable critter.  I also covered the Snowflake dies in diamond dust too.   I used my copics to colour in the image as well as glossy accent the tooth & bells on sentiment.  Had a lot of fun making this card and playing with Diamond Dust, so messy, but very happy with the outcome.
I'm so happy to be able to try out for the wonderful opportunity to be a GDT for Meljen's Design Team  & Challenge Blog

I'd like to enter the following challenge/s ~

I was so happy to use a current freebie from Sami Stamps, such lovely images.  Today I used "Little Acorn Bird", so sweet.  My card is based around the current theme CAS, and was very pleasurable to do.  I had some maple leaves leftover in my stash and these married up perfectly with this image, added other leaves, some rhinestones, metal flowers, ribbon & sentiment (which is punched out ).  I coloured  "Little Acorn Bird" with copics and background was pastel chalks of soft clouds.
